Best Electric Shaver for Men in 2022, Tested and Reviewed

After a lot of research and testing here’s the very best electric shaver for men that I was able to find.

Panasonic Arc5 Electric Razor for Men, 5 Blades Shaver and Trimmer

Panasonic Arc5 best electric shaver with charging base

For the price, the Panasonic Arc5 is one of the very best electric razors you’re going to find. After personally testing and getting used to this one, it’s my daily use razor and I’m never going back to any others unless I go for an upgrade some day. If you want a foil shaver, I’d definitely go with this.

I know you might be thinking of going for something in the Braun 7 or 9 series, but I also compared results with those. Among YouTubers and many other reviewers, the shave is just as close. So spending the extra $100 is probably not worth it.

Excellent Value and Convenience

It comes with it’s own cleaning, charging, and drying base. You can clean it yourself with some soap and water, but can use a cleaning solution occasionally. The features of the included base are super convenient, especially the drying part.

One thing about buying razors, I know $180 is a lot but it’s worth it if you’re going the electric route. You won’t be paying the outrageous gouging prices of usual razors. It’s far more convenient and quicker. Of course it won’t be as close a shave, but it’s hardly noticeable most of the time with this one.

I made the mistake of paying $70 for a different electric shaver that didn’t provide a close shave at all, and a lot more skin irritation. Returned that one and got me this. I would also highly recommend using Lectric Shave, which prevents razor burn and provides a closer shave – amazing stuff it is.

Philips Norelco OneBlade Hybrid Electric Trimmer and Shaver

My other favorite electric shaver is the Phillips Norelco OneBlade. For the price, nothing else beats it in the trimmer category. It won’t be a super close shave, but it beats out other electric shavers in the higher dollar ranges. Especially in the neck trimming area. Some people do use it as their main razor though, and speak highly of it.

It’s only $38 which is almost unbelievable. I’d pick this one up just to see how you like it. You probably won’t be returning this one either. You also might want to pick up some replacement heads, though they do last a very long time!
